EAMS anticipates

EAMS time-travel feature can help you antecipate problems.

EAMS provides a comprehensive view on the as-was, as-is and to-be of the repository and eliminates the need to maintain a panoply of versions and snapshots, by:

Characterizing the repository artefacts in terms of their lifecycle.
Ensuring the transformations planned for the enterprise landscape are easily captured (Project information, IT Roadmaps, Change Requests).

Watch the video and see how

With this information combined with the visualization capabilities, EAMS allows you to:

  • Perform complete impact analysis considering both the as-is and the to-be
  • Easily maintain the artefact lifecycles, both the past and the future.
  • Benchmark scenarios to assess the implications on the enterprise landscape.
  • Plan, enforce and maintain the roll out of IT and Business Roadmaps.

The Blueprint visualization comes with a time slider that allows you to set the interval in time in which you wants to visualize the repository content. By setting the time restriction the symbols depicted in the blueprint will assume the associated lifecycle state that is covered by the time interval set by the time bar.

The following images are an example of an organic view of a Service Catalog. Each image has a different time interval.
